The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has responded directly to President John Dramani Mahama’s directive for all expenditure on Ghana’s national football teams to be made public.

President John Mahama said this in his first State of the Nation Address to the Ninth Parliament in Ghana’s Fourth Republic while touching on key issues affecting sports. The Black Stars are scheduled to be in action on March 21 and March 24 in 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
