Mfantsipim, Prempeh and 6 others clash in Titans Athletics Meet on April 24-25

Following an electrifying atmosphere at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and the Cape Coast Sports Stadium during the 2025 Inter-Schools and Colleges Athletics Championship, the stage is set for another electrifying two-day athletics extravaganza, the “Clash of Titans Athletics Competition,” scheduled for the 24th and 25th of April 2025 at the iconic Cape Coast Stadium.

Organized by W Sports and the Elite Schools League in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service (GES), this event promises to pit the finest young athletes from the Ashanti and Central regions against each other in a battle of skill, speed, and endurance. It comes on the back of the two-day athletics meet in the Super Zonals competition – the 2025 Inter-Schools and Colleges Athletics Competition held in Kumasi and Cape Coast.

The competition will feature a thrilling lineup of schools, with Ashanti represented by the formidable Prempeh College, Opoku Ware, T.I. Amass, and Okess, while Central brings its own titans: Mfantsipim, Adisadel College, St Augustine’s, and Aggrey Memorial.

Each school boasts a rich legacy of athletic prowess, and the air is thick with anticipation as these institutions prepare to showcase their talent on the track and field.

The event kicks off with opening ceremonies that will highlight the cultural heritage of both regions, followed by a series of events including sprints, relays, long jump, and shot put.

Backed by major sponsors MTN and GNPC, alongside supporting sponsors Astute, Stone Depot, Beta Malt, Tombery, and Mattress Home, the event ensures top-notch facilities and prizes for the winners.
